This policy explains how Konsensus LLC, c/o Prospera Employment Solutions LLC, Beta Building, Oficina 6, Próspera ZEDE, St. John's Bay, Islas de la Bahía 34101, Republic of Honduras (registration no. 86585140624059) ("we", the data controller) handles information when you use Mailtrail and its website (the "Service").
Your emails never leave your computer. The converter runs entirely inside your web browser. The archive files you select, the emails in them, their attachments and the files you export are read and created on your device only. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else, and we cannot see them.
If you enter a license key, the converter sends the key and the random device identifier to our license server (a Cloudflare Worker with Cloudflare KV storage) to activate it, and again about once a week to re-check it. No email content, file names or other data about your archives is sent. We store, per license: the key, the plan (Standard or Pro), its status, your email address, Paddle customer and transaction IDs, and the device identifiers it is activated on with activation dates.
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment details, name, email, country and tax information under its own privacy policy. We never see your card details. Paddle sends us the transaction details needed to issue your license key.
Our website and the converter are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not combine this with other data.
License and purchase records: to perform our contract with you and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Security logs: our legitimate interest in protecting the Service.
We keep license records while the license exists and for up to 7 years afterwards for tax and accounting purposes, unless you ask us to delete them earlier where the law allows. We hold no email data, so there is nothing to delete on our side.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We share data only with our processors (Paddle for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and the license server) and when required by law.
All connections use HTTPS. Payment notifications from Paddle are verified by signature. The converter's pages are served with a Content Security Policy that only allows connections to our own site and license server.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA and UK under the GDPR, or California), you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us at our support email (published shortly; paid sales are not open yet).
The Service is not directed to children under 16.
