Outlook for Mac can print emails to PDF one at a time, but bulk export only exists as an .olm archive, and only in Legacy Outlook. The new Outlook for Mac cannot export or import .olm files. Microsoft is ending Legacy Outlook support for Exchange Online / Microsoft 365 mailboxes in October 2026, so if you rely on it, export soon.
For Microsoft 365, Exchange, Gmail or iCloud accounts, the .olm only contains the messages that Outlook has downloaded. Before exporting, check that the folders you need show all messages (in Legacy Outlook: Preferences → Accounts → Advanced → download complete items).
The ZIP mirrors your Outlook folder tree. If the archive holds several accounts, each gets its own top-level folder. index.csv lists date, sender, recipients, subject and file names, ready to open in Excel or Numbers.
Inbox/2024-03-05_0912 Jane Doe - Invoice March.pdf.attachments/.The conversion runs inside your browser tab with Web Workers. Your archive is never uploaded, and there is no server that could see it. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page loads. The only network call is the optional license-key check, which sends the key and a random device ID.
If your mailbox is on Microsoft 365 or Exchange, you (or your admin) can export a .pst from Outlook for Windows or via eDiscovery in Microsoft Purview, and convert that.
Free for up to 25 emails per export. Standard ($29 one-time) removes the limit; Pro ($69 one-time) adds Bates numbering, page numbers, hashes and bookmarked merged PDFs. See pricing.
